Hi, I’m April, a master hair colorist and the founder of Sunbeam Studio in Louisville, Colorado. I specialize in lived-in color, balayage, highlighting, dimensional brunettes, reds, modern grey blending and transformative color. No color is complete without a great haircut, and I love creating the perfect shape to complement my client’s look.

I am extremely passionate about staying on top of the newest hair techniques and trends, progressing my artistry through continuing advanced education amongst the world’s leading beauty professionals. I pride myself in helping clients feel and look their best by keeping their look up-to-date and fresh.

I enjoy connecting with my clients and getting to know their dream hair goals so I can bring them to life. I am dedicated to mastering my craft, and believe that everyone deserves to step into their greatness and truly shine.

As the founder and educator of Sunbeam Studio, I strive to bring the joy of higher learning to stylists, propelling the beauty industry forward and raising the standard for personalized, lived-in hair color. Sunbeam Studio will also serve as an educational hub and host salon for seasoned educators and stylists to expand their technique and skillset.

I am a Colorado native and when I am not at the hair salon I love spending time with my family and friends. You will find us as at live shows dancing, traveling the world to new and exciting destinations, or hiking to the top of the nearest mountain. I love adventure, nature and all things music.

I'm Kellyn, and it brings me joy to welcome you to my hair sanctuary, where your voice will always be heard, and you'll receive impeccable care.

With 18 years of industry experience, I've embraced various roles, from educator to salon owner. Yet, my true passion lies in the artistry of creating breathtaking, natural-looking hair color for my valued clients. As an American board-certified hair colorist, Wella master color expert, and national hair color educator for over half of my career, I've consistently honed my skills in advanced color techniques, staying ahead of the latest trends through continuous education.

For me, balayage is not just a technique; it's a mastered craft. I specialize in crafting natural, healthy, dimensional, and customized looks as well as color corrections. Whether you’re envisioning a sun-kissed blonde, rich brunette, natural red, or seamless grey blending, I strive to keep every color low maintenance and tailored to you to enhance your unique features. I love working with your own natural color, making the grow-out easy for you!

The well-being of you and your hair is a top priority. Having worked in Colorado for a few years, I understand the challenges posed by our climate and hard water. I'm skilled at keeping your hair and scalp hydrated, healthy, and happy with the right treatments and a personalized hair regimen both at home and in the salon. In addition, I am committed to using clean, natural, and low-toxic products to further enhance the health and vibrancy of your hair.

Originally from Indiana, I spent over 14 years in Boston before embracing the change of pace that Colorado offers. I'm drawn to the outdoors, sunshine, and everything this beautiful state has to offer. Beyond the salon, you'll find me savoring Colorado's beauty with my husband and our golden retriever. Additionally, I bring a holistic touch to my practice, being an astrologer, intuitive, and reiki practitioner with a deep love for self-development and holistic pursuits.

Anna Sinnickson

Hello! My name is Anna, and I am SO happy to have you in my chair.

I am a balayage and lived-in color specialist, as well as long haircutting, and love creating personalized looks for my clients whether it be bold or subtle dimension for both blondes and brunettes. I pride myself on going above and beyond to make sure my clients feel like their most confident and beautiful versions of themselves when they leave my chair. I have been a stylist since 2019, receiving my cosmetology license from the Aveda Institute of Denver, and have since taken advanced training in coloring and am a certified Master of Balayage.

My client's hair health is very important to me. As a Colorado native, I am an expert on how to keep your hair hydrated, healthy, and happy in this dry climate. My goal is for you to feel taken care of - whether you want to chat or sit quietly, just let me know what you prefer.

On my days off you will find me hanging out with my husband and Golden Retriever. We love relaxing and enjoying the beautiful things Colorado has to offer, including the restaurant scene as we are both major foodies.

Ashley Villemain

Hello! My name is Ashley Villemain and I have been a stylist since 2012! I went to college first for fashion design & merchandising but found my passion for hair at the Aveda Institute! I worked for Aveda salons for 8 years before branching out to other brands and furthering my color education.

My passion is lived in color, specifically blondes! I absolutely love working with my clients natural color creating a lived in look that helps enhance their natural features. Balayage, foilyage, grey blending & bright blondes are all things I love to do! Sunkissed and natural are my go to words to describe my work.

I’m originally from Florida but have lived all over the US and most recently moved to Colorado in 2021! I absolutely love living among the mountains and I prefer it to the beach! Summer is my absolute favorite season and I love hiking with my dogs & husband.

I can’t wait to meet you and help you achieve your dream hair!

Kenzie West

Hi, my name is Kenzie and I am excited to welcome you to my chair! Since graduating from the Aveda Institute in 2016 I have been passionately helping women feel empowered in who they are and confident in how they look. I believe our hair is like our crown and should be treated as such. When working with me you can confidently trust that your hair is respected and handled with care. 

I love creating low maintenance, lived-in color and grey blending to enhance your natural beauty while also giving you back time in your life to spend doing what you love. I also love adding volume weft hair extensions to add fullness to your hair so you can feel confident without your hair feeling weighed down and unmanageable. Since getting certified in Hand Tied Extensions and furthering my education, I have been on a mission to create safe, beautiful installs to provide you with the most comfortable wear. 

When I’m not in the salon I am spending time with friends, family or my boyfriend either trying new restaurants, or traveling! I love exercising, spending time in the sun and margaritas on a patio!

Hi, I’m Ella! I have been with Sunbeam Studio since the beginning. I pride myself in my customer service and sharing beautiful branding with our clients. I also offer permanent jewelry services in the salon!

When I’m not at the salon you can find me in the mountains with my Bernese Mountain Dog, Gus or trying new restaurants in Denver.

I can’t wait to meet you; whether it be through our social media, at the events I’ve planned, or in the salon getting permanent jewelry!
